Quadro EO and iPad Kiosk “Summer Crush” Promotion

iPad Kiosk with Wings and Graphic Halo

In celebration of the long-awaited iPad Kiosks (MOD-1312 and MOD-1314), we are running Summer Crush Specials. The Specials feature the Quadro EO Pop Up combined with the newly released iPad Kiosks (June 1st). The savings are ginormous. Literally GINORMOUS! It’s our way of introducing what we expect will be one of our largest selling products over the next two years.

Those who saw the units at EXHIBITOR 2012 know that the Classic iPad Kiosks are the real deal. They combine function and value never before seen in an iPad kiosk with a lockable clamshell case, integrated wire management, an internal power strip, and powder-coated steel and aluminum construction. Plus, it wouldn’t be a Classic without accessory options like graphic wings, graphic clamshell halos, literature holders, and a nifty keyboard shelf. Check out the links below to see all the great options.

But my personal favorite . . . the clamshell case with an extrusion connection similar to how Literature Brochures attach to our hybrid systems. This gives you the ability to add an iPad to any new or existing hybrid inline or island from Classic Exhibits (and a competing extrusion line as well). 😉

Kudos to Mike Swartout for the great demo video. Pay special attention to the cool theme music. I love it!!

Let’s Meet at Your Pad

See the details in the Exhibit Specials gallery. You’ll receive an e-broadcast on Tuesday with a flyer you can re-brand and send to your customers. But like all summer crushes, this one is 2 Good 2 Last 4 Ever.

Hope you all had a great weekend and a productive week ahead. Be well!

Trade Show Marketing Insights from Marlys Arnold, the ImageSpecialist

April 8th, 2012 COMMENTS

Download a Free Book on Trade Show Marketing

If you visited our booth at EXHIBITOR 2012, you probably met Marlys Arnold. Known as the ImageSpecialist, Marlys travels the country consulting and training both exhibitors and show managers, and is the author of Build a Better Trade Show Image (2002), host of the Trade Show Insights blog-cast, and creator of the ExhibitorEd Success System.

We’ve teamed up with Marlys to offer her book, Build a Better Trade Show Image, to Classic Exhibits customers. Through the end of May, we’re including an “Our Gift to You” promotional postcard with most inline and island hybrid displays, such as Sacagawea, Magellan, Perfect 10, Visionary Designs, and SEGUE. The postcard has a unique code where exhibitors can download the 280+ page e-book on how to launch, improve, finesse, or fix their trade show marketing program. It’s an excellent book, valued at $25, which every trade show expert or novice should own.

If you are unfamiliar with Marlys, here are three sample posts from her excellent blog.

What Exhibitors Can Learn from Birds

“Have you ever spent any time birdwatching? It’s fun to see how birds behave and interact with one another. In fact, there’s a lot we can learn by watching them, including some very valuable lessons for your upcoming trade shows!

Birds know how to find food.
In order to survive, birds must learn where the food is most likely to be found and then hang out there.

Exhibitor Lesson:
Go to the shows whose audience best matches your target demographic.

You’ve got to show off!
Birds aren’t shy. Peacocks display a fan of their colorful plumage, cranes dance, and many birds have loud calls to gain attention.

Exhibitor Lesson:
Don’t count on being noticed on the crowded show floor — DO something to attract attention.” [continue]

The Challenge of Using Salespeople as Booth Staff

“Following a recent exhibitor workshop, several attendees came up to me with a similar story: their sales team comes to the show, hangs out in the booth, and becomes more of a handicap than an asset. They wanted to know how they can turn that situation around.

Unfortunately, this is a common problem because the very things that make a sales person great at what they do often create a challenge in the trade show environment:” [continue]

Banish the “Little Voice”

“A fairly new exhibitor recently shared that what holds her back in the booth is the “little voice” on her shoulder who keeps telling her, “No one wants to talk to you … you’re just another salesperson.” I think every exhibitor could admit to battling that little voice at one time or another, but how can you banish it?” [continue]

Our Final Pre-EXHIBITOR2012 Video

EXHIBITOR Video #3

EXHIBITOR2012 is less than a week away, and Tim Patterson, the intrepid “Tradeshow Guy” reporter, made a surprise visit at Classic. Up until now, we’ve held our cards pretty close to our chest regarding the booth design and graphics. However . . . being coy was no longer an option with Tim planted in the setup area asking questions.

Here’s your chance to see the structure about midway through assembly. Kevin and Mel discuss the concept in more detail. You are invited to see us at booth #1645 where you can meet Tim and Marlys Arnold, the trade show marketing gurus. They’ll be there between 11:30 – 12:30 on Monday and Tuesday.

We’ve packed our booth and it’s on its way to Las Vegas. See everyone there.

Look for Tim’s video and blog reports from the show. If you are there, you’ll recognize him — he’ll be wearing a hat with the fake “Press” badge. 😉

EXHIBITOR 2012 Teaser Video

EXHIBITOR 2012 Video

Here’s a video about our booth, the first in a series leading up to the EXHIBITOR 2012 Show. We’re working with Tim Patterson, otherwise known as “The Tradeshow Guy.” You’ve probably read his wonderful blog, www.tradeshowguy.com. This video reveals two concepts, one proposed by me and the other by Mel White, our VP of Marketing and Business Development.

Mel’s idea is stupid. Mine is brilliant. Let us know what you think . . . and feel free to share.

Reminders:

  1. We will host a Distributor Appreciation Reception on Tuesday, March 6 beginning at 3:30 in Mandalay Bay. Please stop by our booth (#1645) on either Monday or Tuesday for the location. We are hosting this reception in conjunction with Eco-Systems Sustainable Exhibits.
  2. Marlys Arnold, author of Build a Better Trade Show Image, will be in our booth on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 to 12:30. She’ll be happy to discuss her book, trade show marketing, or any other questions you may have about trade show training.
  3. Tim Patterson, a.k.a. The Tradeshow Guy, will be in the booth as well to discuss SocialMediaEventMarketingU.com. Tim is the guru on all things social marketing when it comes to trade shows. Tim will also be video blogging and tweeting throughout the show.
  4. In addition to our booth, there will be approximately 6-7 Classic Exhibits display builds on the show floor. We’ll be happy to take you on a tour and show you the designs — both rental and purchase.

The “Build a Better Trade Show Image” Fest

February 9th, 2012 1 COMMENT

I wanted to give you a heads-up on an exciting online event happening in the trade show world this month! We’ve been invited to participate in a special promotion — along with other exhibit industry vendors — to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the book, Build a Better Trade Show Image, by Marlys Arnold.

She’s put together a week-long gift-fest from Feb. 19-25. (Which also happens to be the 13th Annual “Build a Better Trade Show Image” Week) We’ll be offering (2) 30 minute design consultations, and there will be more cool gifts from the other vendors, including some great exhibitor education from Marlys. (In case you’re not familiar with her, she’s a trade show marketing strategist and has worked with exhibitors and show managers in all kinds of industries, including some of the largest shows in the U.S.)

To be sure you get in on the party, go to www.imagespecialist.com/tradeshowgifts and sign up for daily e-mails during the week of February 19 that will list all the gifts, plus some unannounced special offers. You won’t want to miss it!

In addition . . .

Beginning February 15, your customers will receive a FREE gift when they order a Classic Exhibits Hybrid Inline or Island, the complete 280+ page eBook of Build a Better Trade Show Image by Marlys Arnold. There will be a thank you postcard in their display packaging, complete with a promotional download code.

To see the download page, go to http://www.imagespecialist.com/classicexhibits

For more information about the promotion and a 45-page sample of the book, go to http://www.imagespecialist.com/classicexhibits/classic-exhibits-distributors/

Classic Exhibits will begin inserting the postcard into hybrid inline and island orders beginning Wednesday, February 15. The promotion ends May 31.

BONUS:  Meet Marlys Arnold at EXHIBITOR at the Classic Exhibits booth (#1645) from 11:30 to 12:30 on Monday and Tuesday and at the Classic/Eco-Systems Sustainable Hospitality Suite on Tuesday afternoon.
