FAQ — Table Throws

Table Throw with Runner

Table Throws seem so simple. Yet, quality varies considerably. We offer only the best materials:  premium twills, vinyl perma logos, and dye sublimation. Our trained artisans craft the highest quality seams and hems, and the throws are washable and fade resistant.

Choose from 8 ft, 6 ft, runners, or even custom sizes.

1. What is Perma Logo?

Perma logo is a heavy-duty vinyl similar to the traditional vinyl you may have seen used for numbers on sports jerseys. The vinyl is computer cut and heat transferred to pre-dyed twill throw fabric. Many colors are available for the vinyl (and the twill).

2. The live area for a Dye Sub Applique is a 45″ W x 25″ H rectangle, and the visual representation of the throw is a circle. Are free-form shapes possible?

Yes. The real benefit of Dye Sub Applique is that complex gradients and photos or complex images like government or university seals can be represented accurately. An additional benefit is that these images can be any shape under the sun.

Circles, rectangles, custom free-forms that outline images like frogs and horse heads have all been created.

3. Exhibit Design Search lists  6 and 8 ft. standard table throws. How can I order a throw for a different sized table?

Tables don’t just come in 6 ft. or 8 ft. lengths. Neither do our table throws. Need a custom throw (or anything else you don’t see for that matter)? Just ask us.

4. What is the difference between a “full size” and “economy size” table throw?

A full size table throw covers all four sides of the table, where an economy size throw will cover 3 sides leaving the back of the table open.

Word on the Street by Kevin Carty

Worship the Moment . . .

This is not really a work subject, but it is something that a good friend and vendor rep. said to me at a dinner this week.

He and his wife were on vacation in the Pacific NW, so I had dinner with them on one of their last nights. Not only was it great to spend time catching up, but it was also a pleasure to hear about their vacation.

At one point during the dinner, he was explaining how they were driving towards the Coast and came along a fresh vegetable market at a farm in the middle of nowhere. So they stopped and grabbed a bunch of fresh veggies. I said, “You just decided to stop. Weren’t you worried about not staying on schedule?” He said, ” No, we have learned that you need to worship the moments that life provides you.” And it really made me stop and think. What a great way to view things.

It seems so often that I go about my days and ignore my surroundings. Whether it is the Cascade Mountains, the  Oregon Coast, or the local fresh food markets.

Many of us travel for our jobs, and we don’t often take the time to see the sights. I know there are cities I have visited multiple times and have never visited the historical, cultural, or scenic spots that make those cities and regions special.

Don’t get me wrong, when we are traveling for business, we have schedules to keep. But at the same time, wouldn’t a business trip be much better if you just took 15 minutes every now and again to stop at something interesting and explored it?

Be well and have a great weekend

Blogging for Beginners 101 — Replay

October 8th, 2010 COMMENTS

Last month, Tim Patterson at Interpretive Exhibits conducted a Blogging for Beginners webinar. If you missed it, you can still see it through the magic of YouTube.

Here’s what Tim had to say about the webinar on his website (www.tradeshowguyblog.com):

Want to hear about blogging? Want to know how WordPress works? Here is video playback of the Blogging 101 webinar I hosted in late September with the assistance of Classic Exhibits.

Keep in mind this is really aimed at beginning bloggers or those who are still trying to figure out what it’s all about and how they might use it.

Enjoy!

Perfect 10: On the Cover of Creative Magazine

October 7th, 2010 COMMENTS

What do Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and Perfect 10 Hybrid Displays have in common? They are all featured on the cover of magazines this month. True, you won’t see our “celebrity” photo at the supermarket checkout stand, but we’re very proud nevertheless. Be sure to check out “Gia” in all her splendor in the August/September issue of Creative:  The Magazine of Promotion and Marketing.

To read the magazine’s  “Tell All” expose about Perfect 10, turn to page 105. It’s quite shocking!

FAQ — Table Top Displays

October 5th, 2010 COMMENTS

When it comes to trade show displays, Table Tops are all too often the Rodney Dangerfield of exhibits — they just don’t get much respect. That’s unfortunate since table tops are the exhibit and event lifeblood of many for profit and non-profit organizations.

At Classic Exhibits, we offer more table top designs than anyone. Choose the two-sided Intro Fabric Table Top or the contemporary Aero Tension Fabric Table Top. Or, select the always popular Quadro Pop Up or the economical Classic Presentation Briefcase Display.

To select the perfect table top display for your needs, start with these helpful FAQs:

1. I see a variety of table top designs with prices ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. What are the differences?

  • Quadro EO and S Pop Ups: Traditional pop up table tops with an expanding metal frame and channel bars. Excellent for any company showing a large graphic(s) on a lightweight, easy-to-assemble display.
  • Classic Presentation: Lightweight 3-panel briefcase table tops with a durable plastic frame, carrying handle, and Velcro compatible fabric. The table top of choice for recruiters, colleges, non-profits, and anyone needing a table top that’s ready to go in 5 seconds or less.
  • Sacagawea: Aluminum extrusion and tension fabric table tops with accessories such as standoff graphics, headers, and shelves. Perfect for just about any situation.
  • Aero Freestanding: Powder-coated aluminum push-button tubes in contemporary shapes with tension fabric and first surface graphics. Hi-tech and pharmaceutical companies love these upscale shapes.
  • Perfect 10: Curved aluminum extrusion table tops with tension fabric. Attached knob assembly. Large, easy-to-assemble, and dramatic.
  • FT (Intro): Two-sided folding fabric panel table tops in varying widths and heights. These are perfect for anyone with an extensive trade show schedule where you expect the table top will take a beating.

2. Are graphics included with the table top displays?

It depends on the system. Aero Table Tops include the larger tension fabric graphic (backwall) but not the direct print graphic. The Quadro Pop Up table tops have a two options — with and without graphics. Sacagawea and Perfect 10 include all graphics. However, graphics are not included on the Intro and and Classic Presentation systems.

3. Will these table top displays fit on a 6 ft and 8 ft table?

With the exception of a few Intro Table Top designs, which are built exclusively for 8 ft. tables, all the tabletops will fit both 6 ft and 8 ft tables.

4. What are my options for Table Throw Covers?

See the Table Throw Cover Gallery to see all your options.
