“Classic” Chippendales Video Compliments of Larry Crumlish

March 20th, 2010 COMMENTS

You may want to step back from the table in case you are eating. In fact, we strongly recommend that you wait at least an hour after eating or drinking before viewing this video. The images are VERY VERY disturbing.

Our thanks to Larry Crumlish from InSource for sending us this Chippendales video and for his explanation:

“This year, I was a bit concerned about what happened after your EXHIBITOR hospitality suite. My understanding that ‘what happens in Vegas . . . Stays in Vegas!’ So I do not know how the film clip below got published.”

As always, it was a pleasure seeing you at EXHIBITOR. We’re sending an index finger in your direction my friend. For an explanation of the “index finger” remark or just to give Larry Crumlish a thumbs up for the video, you can contact him at larry@insourcelc.com.

EXHIBITOR 2010

EXHIBITOR 2010 in Las Vegas

In case you were wondering, we will be in Las Vegas at EXHIBITOR2010 from March 15-17. You can find us at booth #929, a 20′ x 30′ island. Just turn left once you enter the hall and look for the large pinwheel hanging sign with the distinctive (and always attractive) Classic logo.

We will have multiple workstations in the booth so you can explore our extensive product line. The sweet spot for Classic the past twelve months has been our affordable portable hybrid exhibits such as Perfect 10, Magellan, and Sacagawea. You’ll also see our new line of Segue Silicone Edge Graphic (SEG) aluminum extrusion profiles. No one has a larger assortment of SEG solutions than Classic, and no other exhibit builder has our expertise in shaping and bending metal. Not to brag, but we’re pretty darn good at it!

And, if you like the booth, it’s for rent. It’s one of the many island and inline displays in our extensive rental inventory.

For Classic and ClassicMODUL Distributors:

las-vegas-and-classicThe booth this year will include a semi-private conference room so if you would like to schedule a meeting with Kevin, Mel, Reid, or Jim Shelman during show hours, please let us know. Obviously, we are very happy to meet with you in the booth or before or after show hours. After all, we’re there for you . . . and the food and the drinks and the Vegas nightlight. But mostly for you.

You are also invited to our hospitality suite on Tuesday. The suite will open shortly after the show closes that day. Stop by the booth, and we’ll let you know the room number at Mandalay Bay. The suite is always an excellent opportunity to spend time with your industry friends and meet new people. And, it’s just about the only place in Vegas where you can get a free drink and not gamble.

We look forward to seeing you in about a month. And remember, the more you purchase from Classic and ClassicMODUL over the next 30 days, the larger the drink we’ll pour you. Don’t make us serve you wine in a thimble.

See you there!

Get LinkedIn with the Classic Exhibits Network

I’m sure many of you are already in LinkedIn, but do you use it consistently? And what does that mean?

I am on LinkedIn everyday, including weekends. Not because I am some obsessive compulsive personality or anything. Rather, it has proven to be a great source of information. It’s a place where I can keep up with the pulse of the industry in “snapshot” style.

There are several industry groups that you may want to consider joining and following. Some of my favorites are Exhibitor, TS2, EDPA and TSEA.

On Friday, we added a group for Classic Exhibits, called the Classic Exhibits Network. It’s for Classic Exhibits distributors, strategic partners, vendors, and employees. I encourage you to join our group, as well as the others mentioned. And follow them for a couple months and see if you agree with me that they keep you up to date with industry news and discussions.

If you are already active in LinkedIn, let me know what you think of it. Is it useful?

You comments are appreciated.

Have a safe and restful weekend!

Classic Exhibits Receives Patents on Perfect 10 Hybrid Display System

November 20th, 2009 COMMENTS

Perfect 20 Portable Hybrid Display

PORTLAND, OR – Classic Exhibits Inc., a designer and builder of portable, modular, and custom hybrid displays, has received two patents on the Perfect 10 Hybrid Display System. The Perfect 10 and Perfect 20 systems were introduced at EXHIBITOR 2008. Classic was awarded both a design patent and a utility patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. These patents cover, among other design and construction details, the Perfect 10’s unique reverse “S” shape and its modular, no-tools assembly. Additional patent applications are currently in process in the European Community.

According to Kevin Carty, VP of Sales, “From the moment we began designing the Perfect 10, we knew we had a system that would stun the industry and set new standards for portable hybrid displays. The Perfect 10’s curves, portability, tension fabric graphics, and easy assembly made it uniquely different. There’s nothing like the Perfect 10 anywhere in the world. But we wanted to be smart and ensure that the shape and function were protected. We’ve all seen designs quickly spread through the industry without any patent protection.”

The Perfect 10 is available in 14 designs, starting with the “Ava” and progressing to “Nina.” There are also four Perfect 20 designs and five Banner Station configurations. For more information, view Perfect 10 details and download literature at http://www.classicexhibits.com/perfect-10-portable-hybrid-displays.

  • You can learn to be an exhibit marketing guru. Become certified
  • Understand and track your ROI. Creating a well-defined budget is the best method to track and manage your total investment in a particular show

What is Exhibit Marketing?

Exhibit marketing is all about marketing your products or services to buyers at expositions, conferences, and trade shows. A successful exhibit marketing program will be rewarded with increased revenues, referrals, and industry networking. The goal is to understand how exhibit marketing differs from the other types of marketing.

Exhibit marketing is more than just selling from a booth space. For many industries, it’s about bringing people and companies together to promote accomplishments, stimulate thought, share knowledge, build relationships, spur the competitive spirit, and reward entrepreneurial efforts. Exhibit marketing not only introduces buyers to sellers, but also fuels the competitive spirit by filling a hall with competitors, partners, and suppliers, each with goals and dreams of success. Trade shows allow companies to showcase their achievements, build their business, and maintain their competitive edge.
